My blog from 2009 to about 2013. Notes on usefulness, privacy and ads, half in Swedish.

Studyo is study plus studio, a name my friend Markus Björk and I came up with one summer when we needed somewhere to test ideas we had no use for yet. Some of them grew into other things. Some disappeared. Markus is a senior strategist at INGO these days.

Then it became a blog, subtitled “Om nytta och usevertising”. Links with a comment, the odd essay, a weekly reading list. The format was lifted from Daring Fireball, and the about page said so.

It covered SOPA, privacy for people with nothing to hide, why shoppers secretly like hidden prices, and the week Volontaire won the Cyber Grand Prix in Cannes with Curators of Sweden.

Some posts were in Swedish. The about page dealt with that in one line: “It’s called Swedish, and you know about Google Translate, right?”
