Philip Lilius

Twenty years in digital. I’m usually the one in the room asking how the slide deck becomes something that works. Agencies, product teams, consultancy. Based in Stockholm.

These days a lot of that work is about AI, which mostly means helping people use it without panicking or overselling it.

Now

Friends Agenda · Senior advisor · 2023–

  • Svensk Handel: their digital vision and the procurement that followed, from workshops and user stories to RFQ, agency selection and advice on an AI chatbot contract.
  • Svea Skog: an AI pilot that turns internal news into a podcast for field staff who never open the intranet.
  • The transcription service the agency runs on. I built the pipeline, the Teams integration and the rollout. The model is Whisper.
  • A municipal social services department, taught to use AI tools in their daily work.

Before

Osynlig · Strategic product manager · 2021–2023. Led teams of up to six across ten-plus client projects. Launched an AI music licensing product in the US and Canada in six months.

Limetta · Product owner · 2019–2021. Took a headless MVP for an insurtech startup from nothing to launch in six months.

Isobar / Vizeum · Account manager · 2018–2019. AB InBev, Procter & Gamble, Santa Maria.

Volontaire · Digital director · 2010–2018. Responsible for everything digital at the agency. On some accounts I was the strategist (libero.se, for four years). On others I turned the client’s strategy into a concrete digital solution.

Early years · 2006–2010. Krisinformation.se for MSB during H1N1, government web work at Jupiter Reklam, Musicbrigade in Stockholm (started as ad assistant, ended up marketing manager for the UK), and Nyman & Widebeck.

Worth mentioning

  • Curators of Sweden. I ran the technical side of @sweden for four years, the Twitter account handed to a different Swede every week. It won the Grand Prix Cyber at Cannes Lions in 2012 and roughly twenty other awards.
  • Babybuzz (2016). A Bluetooth pregnancy bracelet for Libero. It’s useless once the baby arrives, so it had to come back. I designed that return loop with my counterpart at Libero Denmark.
  • Unvis.it (2014–2017). A side project that let people read shock-bait articles without the publisher earning from the visit. Reached 10,000 monthly users and was sold in 2017.
  • D&AD 30 Day Challenge (2009). Won it with a search aggregator built in fourteen days.
  • The Physics of Greed. A political thriller, written as P.L. Pimeys. Out on Kindle in October 2026.
